Welcome to Bengalcharm

Paul and Theresa Benson of Bengalcharm are breeders of brown black spotted/rosetted Bengal cats. We are trying to produce the finest Bengals from the finest bloodlines. We breed domestic and show / breeder kittens alike. Our cats are registered with TICA and can be registered with the GCCF.

We are a T.I.C.A. (The International Cat Association) Oustanding Cattery, a T.I.B.C.S. (The International Bengal Cat Society) Breeder of Distinction and proud members of the Bengal Cat Club of Great Britain and The Bengal Cat Club.

How it all began

As a family with 2 children we have always loved animals however, one afternoon Hallie, our daughter who was 6 at the time saw some kittens for sale and asked if she could have one. We decided that there was no reason why not, so we said yes. The kittens advertised had actually been sold so we started looking in the local paper and the internet.

After Googling 'kittens for sale' we came across a picture of a Bengal and immediately fell for it. After lots more Googling and phoning around we found our Rolo.

We purchased Rolo , who was a neutered boy and within 3 weeks were on the lookout for a queen to setup our cattery!

Forestgems Jaz of Bengalcharm was our first Queen. We contacted Forestgems who were fantastic with the help and advice they gave us. Paddy and Paula of Forestgems told us about their Queen that was due any day and said they would keep us informed with any news. After a couple of weeks we received the phone call we had been waiting for. Teagan had given birth to a beautiful baby girl and it was love at first sight.

Then came Bambino Bambi of Bengalcharm & Llandar Dakota of Bengalcharm. Next was our first stud boy, Korshki Phoenix of Bengalcharm who has been nicknamed my cuddly bear. He has the wildest face but the most loving of temperaments. After Phoenix came Llandar Junglejack of Bengalcharm who we saw at 2 weeks old when we went to collect Dakota. At that time we had no idea that 3 months down the line he would be our second stud boy. As a Christmas present my husband bought Junglefire Lucky Dip of Bengalcharm who is our first snow marble girl. After Lucky along came Xclusive Enchanted of Bengalcharm who has done so well at shows as a kitten we cant wait to see how she goes as an adult.

Our newest additions are Bengalcharm Georgia who is our first homegrown girl who we are very pleased with, together with our imported girls who have joined us in 2009, Akerrs Angel Delight of Bengalcharm & Leo's Pride Emmy of Bengalcharm

About Bengals

It is not our intention to go into detail about the Bengal cat and its history. It has already been done perfectly here: The Bengal Cat Club - About Bengals.
